Who does the work
You will know exactly who is handling your case, and what they are licensed to do.
Preparation and cleanup work is handled by trained staff. Anything that requires representation before the IRS or a state taxing authority — collections, appeals, an offer in compromise — is handled or supervised by a licensed Enrolled Agent or CPA.
